I’ve known award winning drummer, educator, promoter, singer, and songwriter Bruce Aitken since 2001 when he first contacted me in regard to his Cape Breton International Drum Festival in Canada. Not only did he produce the Cape Breton International Drum Festival, which was one of the world’s premier drum events, for ten years, but he is also an instructor who has produced many fine students.
Bruce has produced an drum instructional DVD and has received multiple East Coast Music Award nominations He was also featured nationally on the television program On The Road Again.
He won the 2004 Music Nova Scotia Musician of the year award and was inducted into the Southland, New Zealand Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2008.
Bruce Aitken currently lives in Australia.
