A great auction site with thousands of listings and lots of info on how best to buy and sell equipment. And, you can find some really fantastic bargains on vintage and modern drums, cymbals, and other percussion gear here to boot.

GovDeals.com – This site provides services to various government agencies that allow them to sell surplus and confiscated items via the Internet. Each participating agency has its own auction rules and regulations and may be subject to state and local ordinances. The site has very few drums or other musical instruments but it can’t hurt to check it out as these government surplus and confiscated items turnover quickly.

TheSaleroom.com – Millions of unique items (including drum stuff) are added to The Saleroom each year from 700 expert auction houses worldwide.

Webstore.com – An auction site supported by donations and advertisements, which keeps the costs low. There are no membership fees. Although they don’t sell everything at auction, the site’s online auctions are highly rated for rare and collectible stuff. Auction categories include art, cameras, music, sports memorabilia, real estate and more.
