Years ago I used Mapquest for maps and directions, then it was Expedia but now my favorite is Google Maps, which is just as useful on my desktop as on my smartphone.
Every traveling musician needs to have access to at least one or more of these as does anyone else, musician or not!
These map sites are invaluable resources to check prior to leaving town. And in addition to maps and directions, you can get everything from weather reports to restaurants to lodging complete with star ratings from these sites.
Try them all and take your pick.
