Animal is, of course, the crazy drummer whose character is based on classic hard-partying rock drummers such as Keith Moon (The Who) and Ginger Baker (Cream).
Over the years Animal has performed with just about all of the Muppets and the one sure thing about Animal’s performances is that he always, always rocks… and he’s a pretty flashy dresser too!

Note: I don’t know is this is true or not but if it is, I will be truly disappointed. Rumor has it that Animal doesn’t even perform his own drumming! It has been said that the actual drumming is performed by Ronnie Verrell, a veteran drummer and member of Jack Parnell’s house band for The Muppet Show. I certainly hope that this rumor is not true… LOL!
